In January, we reported on what would happen if the bond for rebuilding our school passed. There were 2 bills that were voted on, a construction bond and a technology levy. The construction bond would have allowed us to get a new school. It needed a 60% majority vote to pass, but it only got 56.27% (Herald Staff). However, the technology levy that will upgrade technology across the district needed any percentage over 50%, and it got 58.21% (Herald Staff). While we are not getting a new school, schools in the district will be getting the technology upgrades that were mentioned in the previous article.
